The image features a diagram titled 'Wheel of Awareness,' illustrating a hub and rim model. The hub represents self-awareness, with spokes connecting to rim sections labeled as the first five senses, sixth sense, seventh sense, and eighth sense. Text explains the integration of awareness elements.

Wheel of Awareness and the Plane of Possibility

Dr. Dan Siegle

[Whole Class Activity] Listen to Wheel of Awareness and the Plane of Possibility

Here is an image of β€œThe Wheel of Awareness.” The hub represents the experience of awareness itself β€” knowing β€” while the rim contains all the points of anything we can become aware of, that which is known to us. We can send a spoke out to the rim to focus our attention on one point or another on the rim. In this way, the wheel of awareness becomes a visual metaphor for the integration of consciousness as we differentiate rim-elements and hub-awareness from each other and link them with our focus of attention.

Slide 5
Slide titled 'Practice Learning Reflection Group' features discussion points and norms. Discussion points include activity facilitation, practicum events, client needs, and work examples. Group norms emphasize respect, open-mindedness, participation, and confidentiality.
